Euclidean rhythm generator

When to use it

Add Euclid after Clock for polyrhythmic Euclidean grids. Up to four layers can run in parallel with independent step counts, pulses, and rates.

Parameters

Parameter	Range	What it does
Bypass	0 – 1	When on, the device is disabled and MIDI passes through unchanged.
Layer0 Enabled	0 – 1	Turn Euclidean layer 1 on or off.
Layer0 Steps	1 – 32	Layer 1 — Number of steps in the rhythm ring.
Layer0 Pulses	1 – 32	Layer 1 — Number of hits distributed across the steps.
Layer0 Shift	0 – 31	Layer 1 — Rotate the pattern within the ring.
Layer0 Rate	0 – 6	Layer 1 — Clock division for this layer.
Layer0 Note	0 – 127	Layer 1 — MIDI note emitted by hits on this layer.
Layer0 Gate	0 – 200	Layer 1 — Note length as percent of the step.
Layer0 Channel	1 – 16	Layer 1 — MIDI channel for this layer's output.
Layer0 Velocity	1 – 127	Layer 1 — Note velocity for this layer.
