On folder-tab views, Select + Back only switches folders. Long-press Select is the exclusive way to open Options on a device, LFO editor, Step Seq SETTINGS or STEP list, Euclid pencil or LAYER list, a macro row, the racks list, a rack device grid, or the S32 LFO grid. On Euclid GRID, long-press Select opens that layer’s left parameter list (like Step Seq STEP). The header Select square fills on those SEQ / GRID holds the same way it does for Options.
Projects, Storage, and the MIDI device type picker stay Select + Back.
On Euclid Options (from the pencil or a LAYER list) still has a last LAYER row that opens the four-tile chooser.
Choosers
Some screens ask a short question — which Euclid layer — as a full-screen set of tiles instead of a list, so every choice is visible at once. A check mark marks where you are now. Turn the encoder Encoder moves (left to right, then down, wrapping at the ends), Press Select (short) Select confirms, Press Back (short) Back changes nothing and returns you to the screen you came from.

On the Grid: encoder highlights a knob; Select confirms it and returns to Perform. Back returns to Perform. The overlay does not close on idle.
Lists
Long menus show a scrollbar on the right. Turn the encoder Turn the encoder to move the highlight.
On a device or LFO parameter list (and on Step Seq SETTINGS / STEP lists, or Euclid LAYER / pencil lists), tap Press Select (short) Select on a value to latch edit, then turn the encoder with one hand. Sticky edit uses brighter nested L-corners on that line (not a filled row). The header Select square still fills only while you hold Select. Tap Select again to keep what you hear and stay on that list. Press Back (short) Back puts the value back where it was when you entered and leaves the list. Hold Select and turn to drag-edit instead — letting go keeps the value and does not stay latched. On/off rows still toggle on a Select tap.
